Brave is the new movie from acclaimed story geniuses and tear factory Pixar studios. Princess Merida(Kelly MacDonald) wants nothing but to ride through the glen shooting arrows into the sunset. But her mother Elinor(Emma Thompson) and father Fergus(Bill Connolly) want her to live the life of a dignified lady. Is there a magical way Merida can change her fate?

When I first heard about Snow White and the Huntsmen, it sounded terrible. Then Mirror Mirror came out and it suddenly didn't sound so awful.  With more and more trailers of the unique effects, I was getting my hopes up that it would actually be good. Well, it turns out I got my hopes up a bit too much.

Trollhunter

So what do these trolls look like anywa-BATMAN IN HEAVEN IT'S MORE HORRIBLE THAN I COULD HAVE IMAGINED RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!
Trolhunter is a Norwegian found footage film in the vain of Blair Witch Project or Cloverfield. I wouldn't say it's scary, but it's interesting. It's refreshing to see a property of something other than ghosts or zombies.

This is a terrible movie. There I saved you 11$. Strictly reserved for Netflix/redbox/cable where you can make fun of it while playing a drinking game(the drinking game being of course drink every time this movie is goddamn awful). You don't even need to read the rest of this review. It's just going to be me bitching about how bad this movie is. Spoiler Alert, y'know, if you want to be surprised at how awful it is or something.

This is a really enchanting and lovely film, if a bit artsy.  I wouldn't call it a chick flick as others may have called it, but it is a Woody Allan film, so take that as you will.
