About Me:

Greetings fellow movie patrons!  My name is Josh and I will be your critic today!  I am an animator and an avid movie entrepreneur.  I love movies and I love writing about and discussing movies and I love art, so I created Sketched Screenings, a place where I can give my humble opinion on movies old and new while improving my sketching abilities!

I enjoy a wide range of movies, action, adventure, sci-fi, comedy, horror, drama, and especially noir.  To give you an idea of what I like: Fantastic Mr. Fox, Casablanca, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Little Miss Sunshine, The Dark Knight, The Prestige, The Mist, Brick, 500 Days of Summer, and The Incredibles.  If these are also your tastes, there's a good chance you'll enjoy my reviews!

This here is Kristin Bowles, and on top of being a pretty cool artist, she’s got a borderline unhealthy love of the English language. She’s an artist and designer – a Jill-of-all-trades, mistress-of-none. She has a soft spot for family movies and virtually every flavor of animation – 2D, 3D, mixed media, it doesn’t matter. She loves finding things and figuring out ways to make them better.

Her favorite movies include: How to Train Your Dragon, Beauty and the Beast, Avatar, My Neighbor Totoro, El Dorado, The Duchess, Iron Man, Cabin in the Woods, and many more. If it’s in any way related to Hayao Miyazaki and/or Studio Ghibli, don’t worry – she’s a fan.
