Can you tell I have no idea what a motorcycle really looks like? No? Ok good. |

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance
Get out your flaming skulls, we're reviewing Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance!
I expected this to be a flaming pile of crap. Well good news! It's technically not a flaming pile of crap, and it's slightly better than the first flaming pile!

The Last Lullaby
Get out your guns and sleeping pills, we're reviewing The Last Lullaby!
The Last Lullaby is a small indie noir I decided to check out. It's better than I expected, but still not as great as I wanted it to be.

Sketched Game: Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer
The Mass Effect 3 Demo is out, and with it comes the brand spanking new multiplayer. I still haven't finished Mass Effect 2, so I'm not even THINKING of touching the Story mode, but over the last week I got the chance to try out the multiplayer spoiler free! Considering the last two games were single player only, I, like many a gamer, was apprehensive at first. But I can safely assure you, the gaming masses, that it is an utter joy and a welcomed addition.
NOTE: I played the XBOX 360 version.

Chronicle
Get out your camcorder and super powers, we're reviewing Chronicle!
I was expecting this to be a fun little realistic superhero movie with so-so shaky cam cinematography and a few nods to Superman. After seeing it, I now fully believe Chronicle is to the superhero genre what District 9 was to the Sci-Fi genre. Spoilers may be ahead. Are they ahead? I don't know, probably.

Sketched TV: The River
Get out your swamp monsters and expendable cameramen, we're reviewing The River!
I watched the 2 hour premiere(which again was just 2 hour long episodes back to back) and I had relatively high hopes. With the success of American Horror Story and taking techniques from horror movies like Paranormal Activity, I thought this would be at least a little entertaining. I was surprised at the outcome.
You'd think after being in The Ruins and The Crazies Joe Anderson would have learned something about horror movies. |

Sketched TV: Comic Book Men
Get out your nerd stereotypes and raging hobos, we're reviewing Comic Book Men!
This is an awful show that should not be watched. It's laden with bland nerd stereotypes, and pretty much signifies what is wrong with the comic book industry today.

Sketched Game: Dark Void and game length
Sorry this is late, I actually finished the game last week(and really late if you consider the game came out in 2010), and I've been a little sick *cough cough* but I wanted to talk about Dark Void.
You play William Grey in the midst of WWII when you're sucked into a portal and go through another dimension filled with robots and tribes people. Pretty soon you find a jetpack and some guns and proceed to shoot robot aliens in the face to save WWII or something.Thursday, February 9, 2012
Red Tails
Get out your airplanes and racism, we're reviewing Red Tails!
I had medium hopes for this movie. And those were pretty much filled. Nothing better, nothing worse. Overall it's a fun movie, but it is by no means an amazing one. More than anything, this is a movie made by George Lucas.
Not very happy with this. I think the best thing about it is the brushed text. In my defense, I was sick. *cough cough* |

The Grey
Get out your broken bottles and pointed sticks, we're reviewing The Grey!
The Grey is an intense and amazing movie. But if, like me, you came just to see Liam Neeson punch a CGI wolf in the face with broken bottles taped to his hand, well, you will be sadly disappointed.
Can you tell that I like Liam Neeson's nose? What a shnaz! |

The Artist
Get out your [silence] we're reviewing The Artist!
The Artist is an amazing and beautiful film and deserves all the Oscar praise it's getting. Maybe it's not for everyone, but it's a wonderfully crafted story magnificently made.
