Quick Review: The Big Year

The Big Year is a comedy about bird watching staring Steve Martin, Jack Black and Owen Wilson.  It's funny, heartfelt, and has some pretty interesting stuff on birding, the somewhat competitive sport of bird watching.  What's most interesting is how well it covers what people have to sacrifice for their rabid obsession of their hobby.

It's pretty entertaining and worth a look. $$$

I have to say I really enjoyed Kung-Fu Panda 2. I was excited for it coming out, then I was worried that I was excited for it, and then I was excited again when I experienced it. And it was in 3D in a theatre full of screaming kids, so I really experienced the crap out of it.
